Wanted & Found 2014-now

I’m plus size and I know first-hand how difficult it is to find clothing that fits — let alone clothing that fits, is affordable, and suits my style. I’m working on a web app that aims to make this challenge easier.

Public landing page

You can see this page right now at WantedandFound.com. Once you click “request an invitation” the initial content slides away and a form slides in.

The app

Wanted & Found aggregates items from multiple sites for easy browsing, lists all the stores I can find that offer plus sizes, maps store locations that sell plus sizes, and calculates how your measurements correspond to the very inconsistent size charts at 20+ stores.

Wanted & Found | Liking an Item
Users can "like" items to save them.
Wanted & Found | Disliking an Item
"Disliking" an item removes it — when the user browses items in the future it won't clutter their results.

Smaller screens

I’m currently debugging some CSS issues on smaller screens. Here’s some snippets of what looks cleanest at the moment.

Wanted & Found | Mobile Menu
Menu interaction on a smaller screen. I'm contemplating whether I should change this to an icon-only horizontal nav that is always showing.
